Rachel Kesting

Rachel Kesting is a Wisconsin native and grew up in the Sheboygan area. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from UW-Madison in 2007. She then went on to attend UW Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2011. After graduating, she moved to northern Virginia and completed a one-year rotating internship at the Regional Veterinary Referral Center.

Dr. Rachel has worked as a small animal emergency veterinarian since 2012. She moved back to Wisconsin in 2019 to be closer to family and started as a small animal emergency veterinarian at Blue Pearl Oak Creek. She joined Kuenzi Family Pet Hospital in 2023. She has a special interest in feline medicine, toxicities, pain management and internal medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Rachel loves bird watching, hiking, learning about nature, growing house plants, attending musicals, and enjoying time with friends and family. Dr. Rachel and her spouse have three dogs and two cats.
